2nd Annual U.S. Professional Hickory Golf Championship
Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club, Temple Terrace, FL
The U.S. Professional Hickory Golf Championship will be played on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club, which hosted the original Florida Open in 1925.  The tournament is dedicated to the memory of America’s first golf professional, John Shippen.  The tournament has a $5,000 prize fund and an entry fee of $100.  Hickory golf clubs will be available to competitors who do not have their own.  Period golf balls will also be supplied.  For more information go to www.usprohickory.com or contact Mike Stevens at amstevens@ij.net.

Region 8 Director, Pat Sutton, hosts the Northwest Golf Collectors Show on March 17 and 18 at Riverside Country Club.  Dealer set-up is Friday, March 16, 2 pm – 8 pm.  The trade show is Saturday, March 17, 9 am – 6 pm; and Sunday, March 18, 9 am – 5 pm.  The show is open to the public at no charge with free parking.  Bring your golf items for appraisals, or reserve a trade show table ($40/each) to sell your items.  Please contact Pat Sutton at 503-282-7265 or psutton@riversidegcc.com for more information.

Region IV Hickory Tournament

The All American Hickory Open will be held on the historic links of Downers Grove Golf Course on May 18-19. Downers Grove Golf Course is the original site of the Chicago Golf Club, one of the most prominent country clubs in the United States.
