40th GCS Annual Meeting & Trade Show in Southern Pines, NC

The 40th Golf Collectors Society Annual Meeting & Trade Show is scheduled for November 7-9, 2010 at the Pine Needles/Mid Pines Resort in Southern Pines, NC.  The GCS is very pleased to return to this terrific historic venue. The resort also hosted the 2007 meeting, an extremely popular and very well attended event. 

GCS registration will open on Sunday afternoon November 7 with a hospitality suite scheduled for that evening.  The Annual General Business Meeting and Education Sessions will be held on Monday morning, November 8, followed that afternoon by the Annual Hickory Championship to be played on the Mid Pines Course.  There is a tour of area potteries on Monday afternoon for non-golfers. 

Rives McBee, GCS Region 4 Director and former PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour player, is the keynote speaker for the Annual Banquet on Monday evening.  The Trade Show, the largest golf memorabilia show in the U.S., will be held all day Tuesday, November 9.  The public is invited to attend the show at no charge

Dr. Jay Harris from Pinehurst is the chair of the 2010 GCS Annual Meeting Committee.   The Annual Meeting Brochure and Registration will be mailed to GCS members in August.  It will also be available on the Events page of this website.  Make your plans now to join us in Southern Pines in early November!
