GCS Region 3 Golf Show - March 24 in Vero Beach, FL

The 9th annual Golf Antiques and Collectibles Show will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Sandridge Golf Course located at 5300 73rd Street, just off 58th Avenue in Vero Beach, Florida.  The show will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in a tent near the parking lot.  There will be 20-25 dealers from all over the United States with a large variety of golf antiques and collectibles ranging from wood-shaft clubs from the mid-1800s to vintage golf balls, tees, trophies, art, books, ceramics, post cards, and various other golf-related items. 

In addition to the trade show, PGA Professionals Bob Komarinetz and Bela Nagy will be holding a free clinic on bunker shots beginning at 11:00 a.m. near the practice green. 

The event is organized by Bob Stevens of Vero Beach, who is a Life Member of the PGA, as well as a member of the Golf Collectors Society.  The show is free and open to the public.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the history of golf and to begin or add to a golf collection.  Applications to join the Golf Collectors Society (GCS) will be available.  The GCS was founded in 1970 and now boasts over 1100 members worldwide.
