Northwest GCS Meeting & Trade Show

The Northwest GCS Meeting and Trade Show was held on March 10, 11 and 12, 2006 at the Riverside Golf and Country Club in Portland, Oregon.  This is the 20^th year that the show has been held in Portland.  Set-up was on Friday, March 10.  The show was held on Saturday, March 11 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and was free of charge to the public.

We had a nice show with 28 tables of golf items for sale, featuring 10 different dealers.  Nearly 200 people attended the show on Saturday, and another 100 on Sunday.  Golf Collectors Society members attending the show included Sid Cooper (Region 8 Director), Jim Leaptrott, Pat Sutton, Mickey Stray, Lloyd Julian, Peter Yagi, Gary Morris, Jim Gibbons, and Darrell Mackay.

We look forward to hosting another show in 2007.
